Season's Greetings

We would like to wish our supporters and their loved ones a very Merry Christmas and wish you all the best for the festive season.

Thank you for your continued support.

From all at H&YUFC.

Squad Updates

Three departures have come from United's squad in the past week or so, midfielder Scott Shulton has moved on in search of regular first team football while goalkeeper Jack Smith has gone on a months loan to fellow Southern Premier South side Kings Langley looking to get back his match sharpness after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Also returning to Barnet after his loan spell is Ryan De Havilland.

We wish Scott and Ryan well in their future careers and hope to see a fully fit Jack back competing for the number 1 shirt at the end of next month.

Due to on-going Covid-19 issues tomorrow's fixture against Harrow Borough has also had to be postponed and we continue to wish all of those affected a speedy recovery.

Shaquille departs

Attacking midfielder Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick has left United after failing to nail down a regular starting berth in the United side following his return from a lengthy injury and has joined our Southern Premier South rivals Chesham United.

We wish him well with his new side, apart from a couple of games coming up in the new year.

Truro City game postponed

Sadly due to Covid-19 issues this evening's fixture has had to be postponed and we wish all of those affected a speedy recovery.

New date in 2022 will be advised once agreed.

Donners returns as Callum moves on

The past few days have seen a welcome return to the SKYex for influential midfielder Scott Donnelly who "comes home" after spending the first part of the season with Beaconsfield Town, making his return to the United side at Merthyr on Saturday.

On the departure front, defender Callum Buckley, who has spent the early months of the season on loan at Dorchester Town has now made the move permanent and we thank him for his service to United and wish him well with his new side.

Tyla Dickinson returns to Wycombe Wanderers

Hayes & Yeading United would like to thank Tyla for his efforts with the club as he returns to Wycombe Wanderers after a two month stay at the SKYex.

Tyla has played a big part in keeping United in cup competitions, twice being the penalty shoot out hero, and has shown good all around ability between the sticks .

We obviously wish him well with his future career at Wycombe or beyond and hope his experience gained here at United will aid his future development.

Rest In Peace Marvin Morgan

It was with great sadness that the club learned today that former Yeading striker and all around nice guy Marvin Morgan has passed away at the tender age of 38.

Marvin played almost 100 league games for the 'Ding with his goals helping them to the Isthmian League title in 2005/06 and while terrorising defences on the field he was recognised as a gentle giant off the park.

He went on to play in the Footbal League with long spells with Aldershot Town, Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth Argyle to name a few before returning to the non-league scene, ending his career with Potters Bar Town in 2020.

On behalf of all at Hayes & Yeading United I would like to offer sincere condolences to Marvin's family and friends inside and away from the game at this sad time.
