JOHN BIVENS

The club regret to announced the sad passing of former Yeading stalwart John Bivens earlier this week. John first became Club Trainer in the early 1970s before retiring in the late 1980s asssuming a role helping with the Reserves and working tirelessly behind the scenes at the club. The club wishes to extend their condolences to John's family and friends at this sad time. Details of his funeral will be provided as soon as they are known.

UNITED AWAY IN COUNTY CUP

Hayes & Yeading United have been drawn away from home in the 2nd round of this seasons Middlesex Senior Cup and face a trip to North London to face Enfield Town. The tie is scheduled to take place during week commencing 3rd December 2012. The winners will be at home to either Uxbridge or Harrow Borough in the quarter-finals.

STEVE PERRYMAN

Received an update on Steve's recovery from from Bill P this morning

Steve continues to improve and has been moved to Exeter Hospital, he is able to talk freely, albeit sometimes a little confused, and he is able to walk short distances aided by a walking frame.

SUPPORTERS' CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Lee Hermitage has asked that you be reminded that the Hayes & Yeading United Supporters Club Annual General Meeting will take place at 8PM on Wednesday 6th June at Barnhill Community Centre and as with previous years it is open to Supporters' Club members and invited guests only.

If you were not a member by the final whistle of the Stockport County game then you will not be permitted to attend - you CANNOT join on the evening of the AGM so as to attend.
